Founded in 2007, H+I Adventures grew from a love of mountain biking and a bold idea: that the ride should be every bit as memorable as the destination. Built for curious travellers and passionate riders, H+I creates expertly guided mountain bike journeys that go far beyond the trail, connecting guests with local cultures, landscapes, and communities in some of the world’s most remarkable places.
When H+I Adventures came to us to reimagine their website, the brief went beyond showcasing their extraordinary tour destinations. We set out to bring their new brand identity by Freytag Anderson to life online, creating a browsing experience that felt immersive, inspiring, and impossible not to explore. The result was a digital journey designed to stir curiosity, capture the spirit of adventure, and encourage riders to start planning one of their own.
We adopted an editorial design approach to make the experience feel richer, more immersive, and more credible. By giving stories room to breathe and guiding users through the content with purpose, the website became more than a place to browse tours — it became an invitation to explore.
Drawing on H+I’s rich library of photography and video, we crafted a visually immersive journey that brought each destination to life. Every image and moving moment was carefully placed to support the story, heighten the sense of adventure, and inspire exploration without overwhelming the experience.
With each tour carrying a wealth of detail, clarity was essential. We carefully structured the information architecture to make complex content feel effortless to explore, using a clear visual hierarchy to guide users through key details, inspire confidence, and support intuitive decision-making at every step.
We put responsive design at the centre of the experience, ensuring the website feels seamless, intuitive, and visually refined on every screen. Whether browsing from a desktop, tablet, or mobile device, users can explore H+I’s adventures with the same clarity, confidence, and sense of immersion.
Beyond building brand awareness and inspiring new customers, the website was designed to become a valuable working tool for the H+I team. Together, we transformed their traditional PDF-based processes into intuitive online tools, enabling administrators to quickly create bespoke tour proposals and tailored kit lists.
