Kaffateria

A new place to meet

Challenge

Located in the vibrant heart of Glasgow, just steps from Queen Street Station, Kaffateria needed to stand out in one of the city’s busiest destinations. More than a café, it brings together specialty coffee, locally sourced food, an extensive drinks menu, and a versatile events space, creating a brand experience that had to feel distinctive, welcoming, and relevant from morning through to evening.

Kaffateria partnered with us to bring its brand to life online. We created a new website alongside a versatile suite of photography and video content, designed to deliver a cohesive, engaging presence across both the site and social media.

Approach

Building on the visual identity created by fellow Glasgow studio co-ordinate, we used bold, expressive typography to make an immediate impact. Paired with a vibrant colour palette, the oversized type brings energy and character to every page, creating a digital experience that feels distinctly Kaffateria.

Content Creation

Working with photographer Grant Anderson and Rich Watson of Flux Video, we captured the atmosphere, energy and character of Kaffateria—bringing the space, its people and its offering to life through authentic photography and film.

Digital

The new site was designed to capture the character of their independent, family-run business while clearly communicating their full-service offering. Built around quality, sustainability, and transparency, the site introduces artists, labels, and collaborators to Seabass’s state-of-the-art pressing services, fair pricing, short-run production, and commitment to supporting the Scottish music industry.

The result is a confident and cohesive digital presence that strengthens the brand, supports discovery and offers a compelling first taste of the Kaffateria experience, whether visitors are planning a morning coffee, an evening drink or their next event.
