Where Giants Roam (WGR) is a forward-thinking creative agency, renowned for crafting unforgettable brand experiences. Specialising in virtual photography, motion design and live action, they seamlessly blend creativity and technology, tackling visual challenges in innovative ways.
WGR approached us with the exciting challenge of developing a visually immersive website that showcases their remarkable work in a unique and engaging manner. Their vision was to incorporate dynamic video content, animations, and interactive elements to make the user experience as thrilling as the work itself.
Following a recent brand refresh from Freytag Anderson, we collaborated closely with them and the WGR team, we designed a website that merges interactive web features with high-quality video and full-screen imagery, delivering a visually captivating, immersive experience.
We chose a sleek, minimalistic design that lets the content take centre stage, free from distractions. This dynamic combination of visual elements ensures a seamless experience—engaging, aesthetically compelling, and intuitive to navigate.
By integrating smooth interactivity, we enabled visitors to connect with the content on a deeper level, while the video and imagery worked to enhance storytelling and highlight the agency’s exceptional work.
To bring the front-end animations to life, we relied on the powerful GSAP framework, coupled with Lenis for smooth scrolling effects, ensuring an enriched, fluid user experience.
One standout feature we were particularly excited about was the homepage ‘Play’ section: here, animated arrows trail the cursor, creating an interactive moment. It was a challenging effect to perfect, but the final result was well worth the effort. We utilised Webpack to efficiently compile JavaScript and SCSS for optimised performance.
The final website beautifully captures the essence of WGR’s creative prowess—offering an interactive, visually engaging experience with slick animations that bring their content to life.
